People who are not yet registered and want to attend a visit must first register to the main conference.

Guided tour: 2 to 3 hours
Tours consist of a video introduction to CERN, followed by a visit of one or two areas on the site, such as control rooms, research facilities, engineering facilities, etc. Tours take place both indoors and outdoors.

Swiss Plasma Center

A visit to the Swiss Plasma Center introduces guests to plasmas, fusion and their related experimental devices. Aerospace Europe 2023 participants can sign up for a one-and-a-half guided tour including the tour of our tokamak (unique in Switzerland).
Please note that the access to the TCV tokamak might be restricted as major work is currently being done.

The visit in Neuchâtel includes a short presentation of CSEM, then the group will be split, and you’ll discover our latest developments in the fields of:
- Wireless sensor networks for aerospace applications
- Mechanisms for space – such as EU-funded project PULSAR (Prototype of an Ultra Large Structure Assembly Robot), which aims to to develop the technological bricks needed to autonomously assemble large structures in space.
- Visit of our additive manufacturing facilities
